EQUIPMENT

Boots:

The boot is constituted by a carbon part, defined shell and a coating. The shell must be rigid to allow the athlete to transmit to the ground the whole force that he can develop. To have a uniform distribution of the load between the forefoot and hindfoot is expected difference in height between the heel and toe of about 1,2cm. The holes for attachment to the frame are different depending on the size of the frame. The characteristic elements of the coating are:

Frame (or plate):

The frame is the link between the boot and the respective four wheels, can be made of aluminum or carbon. The length varies depending on the diameter of the wheels.

Wheels:

The polyurethane wheels define the determining factor for the pushes and adherence to
surfaces of the tracks. The polyurethane determines a high wear resistance, a good sealing
and adequate elasticity and smoothness. The four aspects that characterize the wheel are:

A complete skate

Bearings:

The bearings are, the further mechanical element which connects the wheels to the chassis, more namely bearings connect with the outer ring and the wheels with the inner ring "Pins" of the frame. There are various types of bearings according to the material of the spheres and the precision.

Spacers and pins:

The spacers and the pins are mechanical elements forming part of the frame and allow close
the pins on the frame without decreasing the rotation of the wheels.

Bearings and spacer inserted into the pin, fixed to the frame

Helmet:

It is part of the equipment required. Although there are no specific helmets, but they can also go to those cycling.
